Love shouldn’t feel like you’re constantly trying to stay afloat.

Virtual sessions across BC | No waitlist | Free 20-min consult

Are you tired of feeling anxious, overwhelmed, or shut down in relationships—and no matter how hard you try, the same patterns keep repeating? Therapy can help you understand cycles and finally feel more steady, secure, and like yourself again.

You might be feeling like…

• You overthink everything in your relationships—texts, tone, distance
• You feel anxious when someone pulls away, but overwhelmed when they get too close
• You keep ending up in the same patterns, no matter how hard you try
• You shut down or withdraw during conflict
• You feel like you’re “too much” or “not enough”
• You want connection, but something always feels off

Meet Madeline Kang

  • Founder

    MA, CCC

Madeline loves working with adult individuals and couples struggling with early attachment trauma and negative relationship patterns.

Madeline’s therapeutic approach is an eclectic blend of Internal Family Systems (IFS), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), and mindfulness-based approaches. She believes the most important part of a meaningful therapeutic journey begins in the client/therapist relationship. She creates a safe, collaborative container for your inner wisdom to come forward.

She is a trauma informed counsellor (CCTP-I) and has completed her MA in Counselling Psychology at Yorkville University. She is passionate about her previous work rooted in crisis intervention and has obtained her ASIST Certificate.

  • Human

Madeline is an artist, athlete, and mother (1 human baby and 1 fur baby). In her free time she can be found romping around the trails, climbing in the desert, and creating colourful wearables. She loves living in a space between the ocean and the mountains.

She believes that life is messy and we should celebrate all the parts that make us uniquely us. She celebrates the feelers, makers, movers, and illogical spirits.

About Internal Family Systems (IFS)

Madeline briefly discusses the IFS framework and how it can help you access your authentic you.
